Alien Species

Yist

Two towering aliens flanked him, humanoid in build yet unmistakably leonine, thick manes framing sharp, intelligent eyes.

Yists are a physically imposing species recognizable for their leonine features. They are better known, however, for their innate gifts. While the existence of these gifts is widely known, they are barely documented, as Yists prefer to keep their abilities hidden from outsiders.

Prismari

As they approached the stall, a tall, striking alien with crystalline skin stepped forward. Light fractured across her facets with every movement, scattering tiny rainbows as she flourished her hands toward the wares.

Her tongue traced lightly across her teeth, a faint chime following the motion.

The Prismari are immediately recognizable by their crystalline appearance and chime-like voices. Their appearance and voices are so attractive that many leave their home planet to pursue a lucrative career as merchants.

Tygzonian

The girl sat near the water’s edge, violet skin faintly glowing under the red sky. Thin antennae curved back from her head, twitching slightly with each quiet sob.

Tygzonians are the most common species in the known universe. They also have the widest range of personalities, making each Tygzonian distinctly their own.

Gaxtonian

At the centre was a tall, scaled alien. His skin shimmered faintly as though lit from within, his tail flicking once with quiet menace.

The Gaxtonians are natural born leaders. Charismatic and confident, this reptilian-like species has a way of getting others to follow them. Their strength and quick reflexes also make them formidable fighters, allowing them to lead from the front when necessary.

Warlo

This one was massive—broad chest, a mane of bristling hair framing a face both stern and imposing. His deep
voice rolled like distant thunder.

Gaxtonians may possess supernatural strength and Yists have a unique gift that makes them formidable warriors, but none of that matters to a Warlo. The idea is in their name. Warlos are the ultimate warriors. Their massive frames allow them to throw aside almost any other species as if they were a teddy bear. Thankfully, despite their incredible strength, Warlos are calm by nature and have little interest in war unless provoked.

Rehol

Before he could continue, a sharp-eyed woman with silver marks etched at her temples spoke crisply, her tone cutting through the tension.

Rehols are a unique alien species, possessing intelligence far beyond that of most others. Despite their natural aptitude, they can be found in all kinds of professions. Some put their intelligence to use as strategists, while others are perfectly content using it to even the odds in a game of cards.

Characters

Oroz

Oroz. Scout. Negotiator. Finder of people and places….. and inconvenient truths.

Oroz is a Tygzonian George and Fiona come to know particularly well. A scout for Strix, his adventurous personality and tendency to ignore the rules make him unpredictable. He would rather talk to pretty aliens than occupy himself with the stress of missions.

Ashola

Ah, there it is. Traveller’s Tongue. The fallback every translator carries.
It keeps you alive, yes—but…..

—you sound so cute when you’re trapped in it.

Ashola is a Prismari merchant who primarily sells alien technology. Flirty, energetic, and quick to tease, she has a way of making even the most unfamiliar situations feel a little less intimidating. Her crystalline appearance and chime-like voice make her difficult to forget, but her personality is what truly makes her stand out.
